Write limits before opening a market: the maximum disposable amount for the period, the session end time, a total event-exposure cap and the signs that trigger a full stop. A limit is a ceiling, not a target. Lowering it should take effect immediately; increasing it should never be an answer to a loss, urgency or a promotional countdown.
